Which flag should I wear on my graduation stole?
Hi everyone! I’m from a foreign country but currently live in the United States and have just graduated from a US university. Should I adorn my stole with my home country’s flag or the US flag? I appreciate your input! Thank you!

Congratulations on your graduation! That’s a wonderful achievement. The choice of which flag to wear on your stole depends on what feels more meaningful to you. If you want to honor your heritage and show pride in your roots, wearing the flag of your country of origin would be a great way to celebrate your background. On the other hand, if you feel a strong connection to the United States and want to acknowledge your new journey here, the US flag is also a lovely option. Ultimately, you could even consider wearing both if that’s allowed, as it signifies your unique identity and the journey you’ve experienced. Good luck, and enjoy your graduation day!
