Graduation Dress

Graduation Dress Dilemma
Hey everyone! I’m set to graduate with my B.S. on May 1, and I’m trying to decide what to wear. Last time, for my A.A., I wore a green dress that matched my robes. I had intended to go with a white dress this time, but unfortunately, I stained it the day before.

I recently received some gorgeous hand-me-down dresses from my mom, but they’re all black. Is it strange to wear a black dress for graduation? I’ve noticed that many people opt for white or their school colors. Do you think black would be appropriate for this occasion? I’d love to hear your opinions!

  1. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! That’s such an exciting milestone! As for the dress, I think wearing black can be a chic and stylish choice for graduation. While it’s true that many people opt for lighter colors or school colors, black is always classic and can look incredibly elegant, especially if you style it nicely with accessories. You could always add a pop of color with your shoes or jewelry to make it feel festive. Ultimately, the most important thing is that you feel confident and comfortable in what you wear. If the black dress feels special to you, go for it! Enjoy your graduation day! 🎓✨
