I just need a doctors note

I need a doctor’s note. I left school a week before break because I had the flu. I took two rapid tests, both of which came back positive, so I didn’t go to the doctor. How can I obtain a note?

  1. It’s understandable that you need a doctor’s note for your school. Since you tested positive for the flu with rapid tests, you can try a few approaches:

    1. Contact Your Doctor’s Office: Even if you didn’t visit a doctor, you can call your primary care provider. Explain your situation and ask if they can provide a note based on your positive tests. They might be able to draft a note for you without an in-person visit.

    2. Telehealth Consultation: Some doctors offer telehealth services. You can schedule a virtual appointment to discuss your illness and get a note.

    3. School Policies: Check with your school’s attendance office or website. They might have specific guidelines or alternatives for situations like yours.

    4. Explain Your Situation: If obtaining a note proves difficult, consider explaining your circumstance to your school. Sometimes, they may be understanding, especially with valid testing evidence.

Make sure to keep your test results handy when reaching out for assistance. Good luck!
