Are there any kids of 18 who are still in highschool?

Are there any 18-year-olds still in high school? I’m asking because I’m close to being done with school, but I can’t graduate yet since I haven’t completed all my requirements.

In my country, students typically finish high school by 16, which makes me feel a bit out of place since I’m older than most of my classmates. It’s concerning to think that I should be done by 18 but can’t graduate because I haven’t finished everything. It really makes me feel like I’m falling behind.

I’d love to hear from anyone else who is 18 and still in high school!

  1. It’s completely understandable to feel worried about being older than your peers in high school, but you’re definitely not alone. There are many students who may still be in high school at 18 for various reasons, such as having to repeat a grade, personal circumstances, or taking a different educational path.

It’s important to remember that everyone has their own journey, and finishing school at your own pace is perfectly okay. Your worth isn’t defined by your age or the time it takes to achieve your goals. Focus on what you can do to finish high school and move forward – you’re not a failure; you’re just on a different timeline. Keep working toward your goals, and remember that many people have successfully completed their education, regardless of their age. You’ve got this!
