I love teachers who keep the lights off in their classrooms

I really appreciate teachers who keep the classroom lights off. It makes it so much easier to spot a substitute, as most substitutes tend to turn them on!

  1. That’s such a great observation! It really does create a cozy atmosphere when the lights are off, and it’s interesting how it instantly becomes a clue for students. Plus, it probably helps with focus and reduces distractions. Have you ever had a substitute who surprised you by keeping the lights off too?
