Bullying at School
I’m currently experiencing bullying at school, and I wanted to share my story. It all began when I moved to the U.S. and started making friends. Initially, everything was great, and we all got along well. However, things took a turn when one friend started to act aggressively towards me, followed by two more. They began spreading false rumors about me, claiming I was a bad person. For context, I tried to keep my distance from them, even though I had helped them fix their laptops and other issues.
Now, they throw my belongings around and call me names that I can’t even repeat. Today, one of the friends approached me, and when I asked him to back off, I ended up getting pushed and, shockingly, I was physically attacked. Can you believe that? I was assaulted just for asking someone to give me some space.
I’m reaching out for advice on how to handle this situation. If you have any stories or strategies for standing up to bullies effectively, I’d really appreciate your input.
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through such a tough time. Bullying is never acceptable, and it’s really brave of you to speak up about it.
Instead of trying to “harshly order” them, it might be more effective to seek help from trusted adults like a teacher, school counselor, or your parents. They can help you address the situation safely. It’s important to stand up for yourself, but doing so in a constructive way can often lead to better outcomes.
You deserve to feel safe and supported at school. Remember, you’re not alone in this, and there are people who can help you. Keep focusing on what you enjoy and the friends who appreciate you!
