Can someone Help me understand if this girl likes me?

Can someone help me figure out if this girl likes me?

I confessed to my girl best friend that I had feelings for her, but I knew she was in a relationship, which made her really angry. She told me not to contact her again. After some time, I apologized, and when we returned to school, she sent a friend to see if we could be on friendly terms again. I eventually reached out, and we agreed to be friends.

In November, she texted me unexpectedly about rekindling our friendship. Just yesterday, she called my workplace from a hidden number to check if I was on shift, and later came in to pick up a pizza. That same day, one of her coworkers asked to talk to me, but I declined. I later went to her workplace, and she showed me a text from another girl we both know, but I had already heard about it from another friend of hers.

There have been other moments too, like when she showed me an old video of us without saying much. I’ve also heard rumors that her boyfriend might break up with her. She followed me on Instagram but unfollowed me when I didn’t follow her back. I’m really confused about the situation and would appreciate any advice on what to do next.

  1. It sounds like you’re in a pretty confusing situation, so let’s break it down a bit.

From what you’ve shared, there are a few signs that might indicate she has some feelings for you, despite her current relationship:

    1. Reaching Out: After getting upset, she still made an effort to reconnect with you through your friend and later directly, which suggests she values your friendship.

    2. Interest in Your Work: Calling your workplace to check if you were there shows that she’s interested in seeing you, even if it seemed less direct.

    3. Sharing Memories: Showing you an old video of the two of you could indicate she’s reminiscing about your time together, which may mean she has some fond feelings for you.

    4. Social Media Actions: Following you on Instagram and then unfollowing you after you didn’t follow back could suggest that she’s still interested but feels a bit uncertain about how to proceed.

However, it’s important to remember that she currently has a boyfriend, and until that situation changes, it’s hard to know for sure how she feels about you.

Here’s what you might consider doing:

    • Give it Some Time: Since there are rumors about her boyfriend potentially breaking up with her, it might be wise to wait and see how that situation unfolds before making any big moves.

    • Communicate: If you feel comfortable, maybe have an open conversation with her about your friendship and where you both stand. This way, you can gauge her feelings more clearly.

    • Focus on Friendship: Since you’ve reconnected as friends, try to build that friendship first and see how things develop. Sometimes relationships grow naturally from a strong friendship.

Overall, try to stay patient and see where things go. Good luck!
