I’m trying to decide between enrolling in a College Credit Plus math course or just taking pre-calculus. I’m really not a fan of math, especially since I’m planning to study political science in college and eventually become a lawyer. I’ll be a junior next year, and I could use some advice!

Feeling overwhelmed about the Regents exam… How do I study? Hey everyone! I’m currently taking Living Environment (basically Biology), and I’ve got the Regents exam coming up in June. Keeping up with trends
Staying Relevant with Trends My friends often tell me I have a poor taste in music, that I’m behind on the latest trends, or that my fashion choices aren’t up to par. I want to stay current to avoid any criticism. What’s the best way to improve my music taste and discover new artists? I […]
AP Research Reading Comprehension Survey! I’m looking for non-AP students (those taking four or fewer AP classes) to participate in my survey. It will only take about two minutes to complete! While participation is optional, I would greatly appreciate your input, especially on the free-response questions, as I need more responses. Take the survey here! […]
It’s great that you’re thinking ahead about your classes and future career! Since you’re interested in political science and law, you might not need an advanced math class like CCP (College Credit Plus) if you feel overwhelmed by math right now.
Pre-calc could be a good option since it will help solidify your math foundation without the pressure of a college-level class. However, if you think you can handle the CCP class and it might benefit you later on in college, it could be worth considering.
In the end, think about how much math you’re willing to take on at this point. It’s important to keep a balance and focus on subjects that will help you in your future career. You might also want to speak with your school counselor for advice tailored to your situation. Good luck with your decision!
