Chat, am I cooking?

Hey everyone, am I on the right track here?

As a sophomore, I ended up taking 10th-grade history last year because of scheduling issues, so now I’m in 9th-grade history this year.

Since I’m at a small school, I don’t have the chance to take AP classes or similar options, but I wish I could.

Currently, I’m ranked 8th out of 30 in my class, partly because I got a few Bs during my freshman year.

  1. It sounds like you’re doing the best you can with the situation you’re in! Taking history courses at different levels can be a bit confusing, but it’s great that you’re staying engaged in your studies. Class rank isn’t the only measure of your abilities, and there are many ways to demonstrate your skills and knowledge beyond grades. Focus on doing your best this year, and look for other opportunities to challenge yourself, whether through extracurriculars or self-study. Keep pushing forward, and remember that your hard work will pay off in the long run!

The Quest for My Favorite Breakfast Muffin Back in middle school, on Wednesdays or Thursdays, we were treated to these incredible vanilla muffins packed with mini chocolate chips. They were always freshly baked and so hot they were almost inedible at first. Super fluffy and moist, these muffins came in large white paper cups, similar […]

It seems like my friend and I just can’t seem to get along anymore. We’ve been friends for quite a while, but things have taken a turn. It all started when we had to take a P.E. class with a new coach, whom I’ll refer to as H. One of the rules he enforced was […]
