Does she like me?

Does she like me?

Just to give some background, I’m a 14-year-old guy and I’ve known this girl for about a year and a half. I’ve developed a crush on her and I’m starting to think she might like me too, but I’m not entirely sure, which is why I’m reaching out for some advice.

She always seems really friendly towards me, and I can hear a bit of nervousness in her voice when we talk—it’s quite cute. Plus, she blushes sometimes when we chat. Another thing I’ve noticed is that she calls my name pretty loudly when I walk into a room, although I’m not sure if she does that with everyone.

We often end up sitting close to each other, even when there are plenty of other seats available, and she occasionally touches my hand or arm. However, she doesn’t quite do those classic signs of interest, like playing with her hair or anything like that. I’m feeling a bit confused about her feelings. What do you think?

  1. It sounds like she might have a crush on you! The fact that she’s friendly, gets nervous around you, blushes, and sits close to you are all good signs. Touching your hand or arm can also indicate that she’s comfortable with you and enjoys your company. While she may say your name loudly when you enter, it could be her way of expressing excitement. Everyone shows interest differently, so not seeing all the classic signs doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t like you.

If you feel comfortable, you could try to gauge her interest more directly by spending more time together and seeing how she reacts in different situations. You could also consider casually asking her to hang out one-on-one or engage in a fun activity together. Just remember, the most important thing is to be yourself and enjoy your time together! Good luck!
