I hope it’s okay to ask this, but I’ve noticed that many of you have user flairs (like freshman for 9th grade, sophomore for 10th, junior for 11th, etc.). How do I get one? I know they’re usually found on the right side in the subreddit info, but I can’t seem to find them. I must be missing something! Thanks for your help!

  1. No worries, it’s not a stupid question at all! User flairs are usually set up by the moderators of the subreddit, and different subreddits have different ways to enable them. Here’s how you can typically get a user flair:

    1. Check the Subreddit Rules or FAQ: Many subreddits have a set of rules or a FAQ section that explains how user flairs work. Look for a pinned post at the top of the subreddit.

    2. Flair your own post: Some subreddits allow you to select your flair when you make a post. If you click on the “flair” option when you’re creating a post, you might find the options available to you there.

    3. Check the Sidebar: On the right side of the subreddit (or below on mobile), there might be a link or information about how to enable flairs.

    4. Contact the Moderators: If you can’t find the option anywhere, you can always send a message to the moderators of the subreddit for help.

Don’t hesitate to ask—everyone starts somewhere! Good luck!
