I Want to Stop Skipping School

As the title suggests, I really want to stop skipping school. In fact, as I write this, I’m currently avoiding class. I’m starting to feel anxious about my future, and I’m tired of my parents occasionally questioning my choices and worrying about what I’ll become. I’ve narrowed down my reasons for skipping to two main points:

  1. I do it to feel happy.
  2. I need someone to motivate me to go (for context, I don’t have any friends—surprising, right?).

I truly want to change this. I’m looking for ways to find a balance between enjoying myself and attending school.
