I’m feeling really down right now. At 15, I can’t shake the feeling of being a loser. No matter who I talk to or who I have a crush on, I always get the same response: “Sorry, I don’t feel the same.” It’s overwhelming, and I’m so lonely. I struggle to find anyone who reciprocates my feelings, and I’m exhausted from it all. People remind me that I have parents who love me, but when their expectations are constantly so high, it often doesn’t feel that way. I’m reaching out because I need help before I do something I might regret.

Should I consider dropping out to get my GED? I’m currently facing a significant credit deficit in high school, having only earned 51 out of the 215 credits I need to graduate. According to my school, I won’t be graduating until I’m 20 (I’m 17 now). I really don’t want to be that person who […]

Math Issues
Struggling with Math I feel completely lost when it comes to Algebra. No matter how hard I try, I can ace my assignments but then bomb the tests, wiping out all my progress. It’s frustrating to miss even the simplest questions. One time, my teacher called me out for failing an “easy assignment” in front […]
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It’s tough to feel lonely and like you aren’t being understood, especially when it seems like everyone around you has it all figured out. Remember, your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to reach out for help. Talking to someone who can help you, like a trusted friend or a counselor, can make a difference.
It’s important to know that you’re not a loser—everyone faces rejection and it doesn’t define your worth. Finding the right person takes time, and often it’s about timing and connection rather than anything wrong with you.
Try to focus on things that make you happy or help you grow, whether that’s a hobby, sport, or anything else. Surround yourself with supportive friends and try to express how you’re feeling with them. You don’t have to go through this alone. You’re stronger than you think, and there’s help out there. Please take care of yourself.
