Inc Class

Some classes at my school have “Inc” in their names, such as US History Inc and Algebra 2 Inc. What does “Inc” mean?

  1. The “Inc” designation in your classes typically stands for “Integrated.” This means that the course is designed to incorporate multiple disciplines or subjects into a single curriculum. For example, an “Algebra 2 Inc” class might integrate concepts from math with real-world applications or other subjects like science or economics, making the learning experience more cohesive and relevant. It’s a great way to see how different areas of study connect! If you have more questions about the specific focus of your Inc classes, it might be helpful to ask your teacher for more details.
