Is it awkward to use the bathroom at school? I know everyone has to go, but as a girl, should I just try to hold it in? Some girls will do their makeup or touch up, but can you imagine the sound of a little plop? 😂 I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!

It’s definitely a common concern! Many people feel awkward about pooping at school, especially in a public bathroom. While it can be uncomfortable to think about, remember that everyone has to go at some point—it’s a natural part of life. Holding it in isn’t great for your body, though, so if you really need to go, just go for it.
If you’re worried about noise, you can try to time your bathroom breaks when the restroom is less crowded, or use the restroom stall farthest from the door for a bit more privacy. You might also consider bringing some air freshener or mints to help mask any awkwardness. And keep in mind, most people are focused on their own things and probably won’t pay much attention to you!
