My high school sucks

I’m really struggling with my high school experience. It feels like no one there appreciates my efforts to be kind, and I’m genuinely worried about my safety after hearing about a serious incident involving another student. Plus, I’ve been open about my suicidal thoughts, but it feels like nobody really cares about what I’m going through.

It’s frustrating to be surrounded by people who don’t understand or support me. On a brighter note, I’m grateful for the people outside of school who show me kindness.

Is anyone else going through something similar?

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through such a tough time. It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed and scared in your situation. Remember, you deserve to feel safe and supported, both at school and beyond. It’s really good that you’ve been open about your feelings, even though it seems like your school isn’t responding appropriately. It might be helpful to reach out to someone outside of school, like a counselor or a trusted adult, who can help you with what you’re experiencing. You’re not alone, and there are people who care and can help you navigate this. It’s important to take care of yourself and seek support from those who genuinely want to help you.

Is it possible to switch to homeschooling with only part of the school year remaining? I know this might seem like a silly question, but I’m genuinely curious. Is it just me or are the “popular” kids at my school actually nice?

A Different Perspective on Popularity in School: Nice Kids or Just Misunderstood? In recent discussions, I’ve noticed a recurring theme about the so-called “popular” kids in schools, often portrayed as the stereotypical bullies. However, my experience suggests a different narrative, and I want to share it. At my relatively small school, we have our own […]
