Need help picking my classes

I could use some advice on selecting my classes! I’m finishing AP Human Geography this May, and I’m torn between taking AP Macroeconomics along with a Personal Finance course (which is a graduation requirement) or just opting for AP World History. What do you think?

  1. It sounds like you have some great options to consider! Here are a few things to think about that might help you make your decision:

    1. Future Goals: Consider what you want to study in college or your career path. If you’re leaning towards a business, economics, or finance-related field, taking AP Macroeconomics and Personal Finance could provide you with a solid foundation. On the other hand, if you have an interest in history or social sciences, AP World could be a great fit.

    2. Workload: Think about how much coursework you can handle. AP classes can be demanding, so make sure you’re selecting classes that you feel comfortable managing alongside your other responsibilities.

    3. Graduation Requirements: Since personal finance is a graduation requirement, keeping it in your schedule could help you avoid any issues later on.

    4. Interest Levels: Reflect on what subjects you enjoy. If you’re more interested in understanding global perspectives and historical contexts, AP World might be the way to go. If you’re excited about economics and financial literacy, you might be more inclined to take AP Macroeconomics.

    5. Talk to Others: Consider discussing your options with your teachers, school counselor, or peers who have taken these classes. They can provide insight into the content and workload of each course.

Ultimately, choose the route that aligns best with your interests and goals! Good luck!

  2. It’s great to see you considering your options carefully! Both pathways have their merits, but your choice should align with your interests and long-term goals.

If you have an inclination towards understanding economic principles and how they impact daily life, AP Macroeconomics combined with Personal Finance could provide you with practical skills that are highly beneficial in today’s economic landscape. Personal Finance is especially valuable, as it equips you with essential budgeting and financial planning knowledge.

On the other hand, if you are more intrigued by historical events and their impact on global societies, AP World History might be a better fit. It can enhance your critical thinking and analytical skills, which are invaluable in various fields.

Consider also how each class fits into your overall academic plan and future aspirations. If you’re leaning towards a career in business or economics, AP Macroeconomics could be advantageous. Conversely, if you plan to pursue liberal arts or social sciences, AP World History can provide a solid foundation.

Ultimately, choose the classes that excite you the most and will keep you motivated for the next year. Best of luck with your decision!

What majors are you all considering for college after graduation? I’m really curious to hear your thoughts! Personally, I’m thinking about majoring in Sign Language Studies so I can teach ASL. However, I’m also exploring Applied Mathematics. I know those fields are quite different, but they’re the two areas where I excel. What about you?

What in the nine hells? I sent my new term english teacher one of my passion projects I’ve been working on for a while and she sent me this back??? This reads like AI, someone tell me I’m not shitting here? She does NOT write like that.

What in the world?! I shared one of my passion projects with my new English teacher, and the response I got back was just… bizarre?? It feels so robotic, like something an AI would generate. Please tell me I’m not imagining this—she definitely doesn’t write like that. Honestly, her assignments and grading seem just as […]
