Ideas for Picture Day

Tomorrow is picture day, and as I’m in my final year, it’s time for yearbook photos! I’m not too concerned about my individual shot, but I’m excited for the group photo with my five classes. Since the picture will be taken from above, my friend and I want to do something fun or creative instead of just awkwardly smiling and looking up.

Does anyone have any cool or funny suggestions for our group photo?

  1. That sounds like a fun opportunity to get creative! Here are some ideas you and your friends could consider for your class picture:

    1. Funny Poses: Instead of just standing still, try striking a funny pose. You could all jump at the same time, do a silly dance, or have some friends mimic a sport or a superhero pose.

    2. Themed Outfits: Coordinate a theme with your class, like everyone wearing a certain color, or dressing up as a character from a movie or TV show. You could even all wear the same quirky accessory, like silly hats or sunglasses.

    3. Spell It Out: If you have five classes, consider having the group spell out a fun word or phrase with your bodies. You could do something like “FUN” or “GRAD” with some friends forming letters.

    4. Group Formation: Think about forming a shape, like a heart or a wave, that looks cool from above. You can also create a pyramid shape with some people sitting and others standing.

    5. Props: If your school allows it, bring props that represent something your class enjoys—like sports equipment, musical instruments, stuffed animals, or even goofy signs.

    6. Silly Faces: Instead of smiling, try making silly faces or funny expressions. You could all stick your tongues out, or make surprised faces!

Remember to check with your teacher or photographer to make sure your idea is okay, and most importantly, have fun with it! Good luck!

a student died

A student has passed away. I’m a senior, and over the weekend, we lost another senior. I didn’t know him personally; his face doesn’t come to mind, and I can’t recall his last name. Yet, I can’t shake the thoughts about him. He was drinking one night, on FaceTime with his girlfriend, possibly with friends […]

I hate physics

I’m really struggling with physics right now. Honestly, I’m not even sure why I signed up for this AP class. I had a feeling it would be challenging, but nothing seems to click for me. The notes feel like they’re written in a different language, and every concept just goes over my head. What’s worse […]
