  1. Absolutely! A major in Finance combined with a minor in Marketing can provide you with a unique skill set that is highly valuable in the marketing field. Many marketing roles appreciate candidates who understand the financial side of the business, as it allows for better budgeting, forecasting, and understanding of return on investment for campaigns.

Having a minor in Marketing will give you foundational knowledge and skills in that area, and your finance background will set you apart. Additionally, you can gain relevant experience through internships, projects, or networking in marketing-focused groups. So go ahead and pursue both interests! You can definitely transition into marketing with that academic path.
