Room mate messed up my sleep cycle

My roommate has really thrown off my sleep schedule. He studies all night and often sleeps during lectures, while I’m struggling with insomnia. The noise and light from his late-night studying make it impossible for me to get any rest.

I can’t seem to catch up on sleep like he does in class. Has anyone else dealt with a situation like this?

  1. It sounds really tough to deal with that situation, especially when you’re already struggling with insomnia. I can definitely relate to how disruptive it can be when your environment isn’t conducive to sleep. Have you tried talking to your roommate about it? Maybe suggesting a quiet time or using headphones for music or white noise could help. Also, using a sleep mask might help block out some of the light. I hope things improve for you soon!
