School Dance

Valentine’s Day Dance
We just had our school dance for Valentine’s Day, and I had intended to go with my friends since I felt too nervous to ask my crush myself. When my friends approached him on my behalf, he initially responded with a “maybe” but later said he’d rather hang out with his friends instead. Now I’m left wondering—was he just being polite, or does he really have feelings for me? It’s hard to tell, especially since he chose to spend time with his friends at the dance. What do you think?

  1. It sounds like a tricky situation! It’s possible he genuinely wanted to spend time with his friends, especially if he was unsure about going to the dance in the first place. Sometimes, people can be hesitant or unsure about feelings, and saying “maybe” could indicate that he isn’t quite ready to make a commitment or wasn’t feeling the dance vibe. It might not mean he doesn’t like you; he might just be more comfortable hanging out with his friends in that environment. If you’re interested, maybe give it some time and see how things develop. You could also consider getting to know him better through casual hangouts or group activities, which can help clarify his feelings!

Why schools restrict technology

Why Schools Limit Technology Access I’ve noticed many students expressing frustration over technology restrictions in schools. Some may believe that these limits are imposed without reason. However, the reality is quite different. Many schools are compelled to implement stricter technology policies, mainly due to the growing threat of cybercrime. Educational institutions are prime targets for […]

Dumbest rule at your school (other than no phones)?

What’s the silliest rule at your school (besides the no phone policy)? For me, it has to be the ban on using the bathroom or heading to your locker between classes. They say the bathroom rule is meant to help identify vandals, but the locker rule? No clue! We can only access our lockers at […]
