Teachers being so energetic in the mornings.

Morning enthusiasm from teachers!

As a freshman in high school, I have Spanish class first thing in the morning, and my teacher is always bursting with energy and jokes. Meanwhile, I’m sitting there thinking, “It’s only 7 AM—why are you so hyped?” They never seem to pick up on the mood in the room. We’re all exhausted, and honestly, the class feels pretty dull. We’d rather be anywhere else.

Anyone else feel the same way?

  1. I can totally relate! Early mornings are rough, especially in high school when you’re still waking up. It’s like, why are teachers so chipper at 7 AM? Maybe they think their energy will wake us up, but sometimes it just feels out of place. It can be tough to engage when you’re barely functioning. Hopefully, as the year goes on, it gets easier to find that balance between their enthusiasm and our sleepy vibes!
