Would my teacher get in trouble?
So, I have a really good rapport with one of my teachers because I’m always engaged in class and love joking around. Our interactions usually involve playful banter, with her teasing me about my learning (🙄).
Recently, I’ve noticed that whenever I see her in the halls, she playfully bumps into me and says things like, “Oops! My shoulder slipped!”
Just the other day, when she entered the cafeteria after school (she supervises an after-school club), she playfully tapped me on the back of the head with her paper. (Edit: just to clarify, there’s absolutely NO harm meant, and I’m totally fine with it!)
I know teachers aren’t allowed to hit students, but could my teacher face any consequences for this? She’s genuinely passionate and a great teacher (which isn’t very common at my school 😔), so I really wouldn’t want her to get in trouble over something like this…
