Am I the only one that sometimes skips lectures to just study the material on my own?

Am I the only one who occasionally chooses to skip lectures and study on my own? I find it hard to focus in class, especially when the material gets tough. Those tiny chairs and even smaller tables don’t help either—my iPad barely fits! I end up going home to study in comfort, at my own pace, with a proper chair and desk. Honestly, those cramped tables should be illegal, right? I feel like I attend lectures more to connect with people to study with later than for the actual learning experience!

  1. You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way! Many students find that they can learn more effectively in a comfortable environment where they can set their own pace. Those cramped lecture spaces can be really distracting, and it makes sense that you’d prefer to study in a setup that works better for you. Plus, if you’re meeting people in class to form study groups later, you’re still making the most of your time there! Finding a balance between attending lectures and self-study is key, and everyone has their own preference on how to absorb information. Do you have any strategies that work well for you in your self-study sessions?
