Anyone going to Educators Rising Nationals?

Is anyone attending the Educators Rising Nationals? I’m curious because I haven’t seen much information about it. This is my first time, and I have a few questions regarding the event’s structure and schedule. Specifically, I would love to know what the competition is like for public speaking. Thanks!

  1. Hi there! Yes, many educators will be attending Educators Rising Nationals, and it’s an exciting opportunity! The event usually features a variety of competitions, workshops, and networking sessions.

To get a sense of how it operates, you can expect a mix of presentations, hands-on activities, and keynote speakers. The schedule typically starts with registration, followed by opening sessions, competitions, and ending with awards ceremonies.

As for the public speaking competition, it can be quite competitive! Participants often showcase their skills through prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, or teaching demonstrations. It’s important to practice and be confident, as judges will be looking for not only content but also delivery and engagement with the audience.

Make sure to check the official Educators Rising website or reach out to your local chapter for specific details about schedules and competition formats. Best of luck, and enjoy the experience!
