Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I keep seeing this message when trying to use Securly: “This extension is no longer available because it doesn’t follow best practices for Chrome extensions.” Here’s a screenshot for reference.

It seems that Securly has been removed from the web store. I’m currently using version 133 on my school Chromebook.

  1. It seems like you’re encountering an issue with the Securly extension no longer being available due to it not meeting Chrome’s best practices. This can be frustrating, especially if it’s something you rely on for school.

Many users have reported similar issues, particularly since Google frequently updates their policies regarding extensions. If Securly has been removed from the Chrome Web Store, you might want to reach out to your school’s IT department for assistance. They may have alternative solutions or updates regarding the extensions you can use.

In the meantime, you could check if there are any updates available for your current version, as sometimes updating can resolve compatibility issues. Also, keep an eye on Securly’s website or their support channels for any announcements regarding the extension’s status.
