Does this person like me?

Am I reading this situation right? I feel a bit confused about someone in my class.

We’re in the same grade and share four out of six classes together. In one class, we even sit next to each other, and we often find our way to sit side by side in the other classes whenever possible.

She mentioned that by Valentine’s Day next year, she’d be open to going out with me. We also talk about hanging out at each other’s houses.

We have a playful dynamic, too; we mess around a lot—she’ll steal my hat, and I’ll take her hoodies, and we like trying on each other’s clothes throughout the day.

What really has me scratching my head is that she identifies as lesbian, and I’m a guy. So, does this mean she likes me, or am I misunderstanding things?

  1. It sounds like there are some mixed signals happening here! It’s clear that you have a fun and playful relationship with her, which can often indicate a level of comfort and attraction. The fact that she wants to spend time together, whether at her house or yours, is also a good sign that she enjoys your company.

However, her identification as lesbian complicates things a bit. It’s possible that she values your friendship deeply and feels a strong connection with you, even if she doesn’t see you in a romantic light. People can have close bonds and playful interactions without necessarily being romantic, especially if they are exploring their own identities.

If you’re feeling confused, it might help to have an open and honest conversation with her. You could express how you feel and ask her about her feelings toward you. This could give you more clarity about where you both stand. Just remember to be respectful of her feelings and identity, whatever the outcome may be!

What’s up with dual enrollment??

What’s going on with dual enrollment? I signed up for a dual enrollment program, but I was never informed about the costs involved. It’s strange because I don’t need to take any classes; they just transfer my existing grades for the subject. I’m feeling a bit stuck since I can’t afford the fee right now. […]

I haven’t blinked in 6 months

I haven’t blinked in six months! Over summer break, I aimed for more than eight hours of sleep, but once school started, it dropped to just four hours. That’s the best I can manage right now. I really don’t know why it’s been so tough. I can’t wait to graduate!
