HP x NVIDIA Presents: High School-Only Hackathon!

I’m excited to announce a special hackathon exclusively for high school students across the Bay Area!

One challenge I’ve noticed with tech events in the city is that they often cater to industry professionals or college students. However, many high schoolers possess incredible talent but miss out on valuable tools and mentorship available in San Francisco. As a Master’s student, I understand how crucial these events are for gaining early exposure to the tech world.

Enter Chinatown Hacks – a free AI hackathon designed specifically for high school students, taking place at USF Downtown on March 15-16. This event promises real tools, experienced mentors, and genuine opportunities, plus over $10,000 in prizes, thanks to our amazing sponsors: HP, NVIDIA, TwelveLabs, and Cerebras. No prior experience is required; our goal is to inspire students to experiment, innovate, and create.

We’ll have engineers and AI experts from the community serving as mentors—not just recruiters. Enjoy local food, convenient transit access, and the chance to explore how technology can be used for social good.
