Is it strange to hang out in your underwear after a gym session, or is it something most people wouldn’t think twice about? I usually wear my sweatpants under my jeans when I go to school to avoid being in just my underwear in the locker room. With the weather heating up quickly (thanks a lot, global warming!), I’m finding it really uncomfortable. However, I’m not sure if this practice is socially acceptable since I don’t see many others doing it.

It’s not weird at all to feel uncomfortable changing in a locker room, and everyone has their own personal preferences when it comes to modesty. Some people are completely fine with being in their underwear in front of others, while others prefer to keep things covered up. Wearing sweatpants under your jeans is a practical solution if it makes you feel more comfortable.
As for social norms, it can vary from place to place. If you’re not seeing others change, it might just be that people in your school are more private about it or have their own routines. Ultimately, do what makes you feel comfortable! If wearing sweatpants helps you feel more at ease, then go for it. Your comfort is what matters most!
