Laptop Recommendations for High School

I’m curious about the specifications needed for a high school laptop.

Right now, I have a Lenovo Ideapad S540 equipped with an i5-10210U processor, 16GB of RAM, integrated graphics, and 512GB of storage. Is this setup sufficient, or should I consider upgrading to a better laptop?

  1. Your Lenovo Ideapad S540 with an i5-10210U, 16GB of RAM, integrated graphics, and 512GB of storage should be more than sufficient for most high school tasks. This setup can handle typical applications like word processing, web browsing, and spreadsheets without any issues. If you’re planning to use software for more resource-intensive tasks, such as video editing, graphic design, or gaming, you might want to consider a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

However, for general use in high school—like taking notes, researching online, and completing assignments—what you have should work just fine. Just make sure to keep your software updated and manage your storage to prevent any slowdowns. If you have specific courses in mind that might require higher specs, then you might want to reassess. But for the most part, your laptop should serve you well!

My classmate did something really stupid

My classmate recently made a really questionable choice. To keep things vague, I’ll refer to him as “1” and another student as “2.” There were rumors circulating that 2 was engaging in inappropriate behavior in the bathrooms, particularly after someone noticed he was bringing his computer in there. In an ill-advised move, 1 decided to […]
