Finding My Purpose
As I approach the end of high school, I find myself uncertain about my next steps. I’m struggling to figure out what course to pursue and what truly interests me. To be honest, my main motivation is financial stability—I’m looking for a path that is enjoyable and engaging but also has the potential to lead to wealth. It’s a frustrating position to be in!
It’s completely normal to feel uncertain about your future, especially as you approach such a big transition like finishing high school. The pressure to pick a path can be overwhelming, but it’s great that you’re thinking about what you want in a career.
First off, money is an important factor, but it might help to find something that excites you as well. Think about what hobbies or subjects interest you—sometimes, passions can lead to lucrative careers. For example, fields like technology, finance, marketing, or the creative industries often offer both good earning potential and a chance to engage in enjoyable work.
Also, consider exploring different fields through internships, part-time jobs, or online courses. This can give you a taste of various careers and help you find what resonates with you. Remember, many people change their paths multiple times, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself to find the “perfect” course right now. Take your time to explore and discover what feels right for you—there’s no rush! You’ve got this!
