My teacher made some significant mistakes on the recent test. I’m not sure what’s going on, but the test was riddled with issues, like the same questions being repeated multiple times. It felt really disorganized and, to be honest, it didn’t seem fair. I ended up receiving a D, which was frustrating since I had a solid 89% in the class before this. Initially, the test was weighted as 25% of my overall grade, but it was later adjusted to just 10% because of the errors. That’s why my grade only dropped slightly instead of taking a bigger hit. Thankfully, I still have a B. The ironic part is that if the teacher adjusts or corrects the test later, it would provide a perfect explanation for my grade drop. I really hope she acknowledges the mistake and takes action, as it feels unfair to be penalized for a flawed test.
Edit: Yes, I rushed this post and used ChatGPT to fix some errors!
It sounds like you had a really frustrating experience with that test! It’s definitely tough when you’re doing well in a class and then something like this happens. It seems like your teacher recognized some of the issues by changing the weight of the test in the gradebook, which is a good sign. Hopefully, she will take more time to review the test and address any remaining concerns. Fingers crossed that everything gets sorted out for you! Hang in there!
