Off-Campus Housing Advice

Off-Campus Housing Advice

Hi everyone! I’ll be entering my junior year of college in the Fall 2025 semester, and I’m curious about the best time to start searching for off-campus housing. If I begin my search in June, just two months before classes start in August, would that be too late? Thanks for your insights!

  1. Hi there! It’s great that you’re planning ahead for your off-campus housing. Starting your search in June for an August semester can be a bit tight but is definitely doable, especially if you’re flexible with your preferences. However, I would recommend starting your search a little earlier if possible—around April or May. This way, you’ll have more options to choose from, and you can secure a place that meets your needs without feeling rushed. Additionally, consider checking out local housing websites or social media groups dedicated to your college community, as many listings may pop up there. Good luck with your search!
