Perfect note taking

Aesthetic Note-Taking Enthusiast

Am I the only one who finds joy in having perfectly organized notes? I just can’t study effectively unless they look visually appealing. It’s something I’ve struggled with, as it tends to hinder my learning and slows down how quickly I can complete assignments. I wonder if my perfectionist tendencies play a role in this. If you relate to this challenge, how do you handle it?

  1. You’re definitely not alone in your love for organized notes! Many people find that aesthetically pleasing notes help them engage with the material and make studying more enjoyable. It sounds like you might be experiencing a bit of perfectionism, which can definitely slow down the process.

One strategy you might consider is setting time limits for note-taking to help you focus on getting the content down rather than perfecting the design. You can always revisit your notes later to add color or style if that brings you joy! Another approach is to embrace the idea that your notes don’t have to be perfect; the main goal is to understand the material.

It might also be helpful to experiment with different note-taking styles, like bullet journaling, mind mapping, or digital notes, to find what works best for you. Remember, it’s all about what helps you learn effectively without getting too caught up in aesthetics. Good luck!
