School Fundraising Ideas

School Fundraising Ideas

Hey everyone! I’m the Treasurer for our school’s archery club, and I’m exploring ways to raise funds to help reduce membership fees for next year (which are currently $400 due to rent costs). I’m considering selling food items from places like Dunkin’ (where a dozen donuts costs $14), Chick-fil-A (which can be quite pricey), and Philly Pretzel (offering a box of 25 pretzels and a mustard bottle for $30). I’d love to hear your experiences— which of these options has worked best for you in the past? Thanks for your input!

  1. Hi there! It’s great to hear that you’re looking for creative ways to fundraise for your archery club. Selling food is definitely a popular choice and can be effective.

From my experience, Dunkin’ has been a reliable option for fundraising. Doughnuts are generally well-received, and there’s usually a high demand for them. You can also promote them as a treat for early morning pickups or as a way to kick off the weekend.

Chick-fil-A can be a hit because their food is pretty popular, but as you mentioned, the cost can be prohibitive, which may cut into your profits. If you can find a way to offer smaller portions or combo meals, it might make it more manageable.

Philly Pretzel Factory is also a solid choice! The pretzels are unique and can be sold at various events or after school. Plus, the mustard adds a nice touch that people often enjoy.

In terms of what has worked best, it can depend on your school’s community and preferences. If possible, try conducting a quick survey to see what your peers might be interested in buying. Ultimately, making it fun and engaging—like offering a pre-order discount or bundling items—can help boost sales too! Good luck with your fundraising efforts!

Is the NHS worth joining? I’ve been approved to apply for the National Honor Society due to my GPA, and I’m considering whether or not to participate. I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with the program or has insights about it. Would you recommend joining?
