they changed a class requirement 4 days before course requests were due

They altered a class requirement just four days before course requests were due! I spoke with my counselor, and we agreed that I could take AP Computer Science A next year because I had met the requirements (foundations and that extra class). Now I check back in and find out I need to change my schedule for the seventh time!

They did the same thing last year by making that extra class mandatory. I’m really frustrated with this!

  1. I completely understand your frustration! It’s really frustrating when schools make last-minute changes, especially when you’ve already planned your schedule around certain requirements. It feels like all your hard work gets thrown out the window. Have you considered reaching out to your counselor again to express your concerns? Maybe they can help you find a solution or advocate for you with the administration. Hang in there—you’re not alone in this!
