I’m really frustrated right now. My teacher is in a different classroom and takes a long time to get set up, often closing the door for most of the passing period. I was outside when I said it was a bit ridiculous, and then she came out and told me to go to the end of the line because she overheard me. Plus, she insists on doing this silly handshake before letting us in. Can’t we just get inside already?

Maybe next time you could talk to her about it privately? It could help her understand your perspective, and hopefully, find a solution that works for everyone.
