Why are some guys so fixated on adopting a “gangster” persona? They wear flashy chains and puffy vests, constantly use the n-word even though they aren’t Black, and often come off as aggressive or quick to anger. It’s puzzling how they seem to think that seeking approval or respect from others holds any real significance.
I currently have an average of 16.2 out of 20, which translates to 81%. Is that considered good? Just to add, I’m in France and I’m in troisième (9th grade, still in middle school).

Unfortunately, that can lead to a misunderstanding of the deeper cultural significance behind these actions, especially when it involves appropriating elements from communities they’re not a part of.
Ultimately, it can be a reflection of insecurities or a desire for acceptance, but it often misses the mark and can perpetuate harmful stereotypes. It’s important for people to find authenticity in their identities rather than relying on borrowed attitudes.
