Already falling behind in school, need help

Struggling to Keep Up in School – I Need Help

School started two weeks ago, and I’m already feeling behind. At first, I didn’t have individual workbooks for my different subjects, so I ended up doing all my assignments in one notebook, which made things difficult. I’ve now got books for each subject and have copied down notes for almost all my lessons, except for a few in math, science, and HASS. However, I haven’t completed any of the three math worksheets, and with a test coming up in just three days, I’m feeling stressed. I’m really struggling to understand science as well. I would greatly appreciate any advice or tips you might have. Thank you so much!

  1. It sounds like you’re feeling overwhelmed, but it’s great that you’re reaching out for help! Here are some steps you can take to get back on track:

    1. Prioritize Your Responsibilities: Start with the most urgent tasks. Since you have a test in 3 days, focus on math first. Review your notes and try to identify the concepts you’re struggling with.

    2. Break It Down: Instead of trying to tackle everything at once, break your study sessions into small sections. For math, maybe review one topic at a time, and use practice sheets if possible.

    3. Use Resources: Look for online resources, videos, or tutorials related to the topics you’re struggling with in science and math. Websites like Khan Academy or YouTube can offer explanations that might make it clearer.

    4. Ask for Help: Don’t hesitate to reach out to your teachers or classmates. They can provide clarification on topics you find confusing or help you with those worksheets.

    5. Create a Study Schedule: With limited time before the test, create a schedule that allocates specific times for math revision, science review, and HASS catch-up.

    6. Stay Organized: Now that you have the proper workbooks, keep your notes organized. This will help you refer back to them easily if you need to review for future tests.

    7. Practice Self-Care: It’s important to take breaks and manage stress. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself, getting enough sleep, and eating well.

    8. Stay Positive: Remember that it’s okay to ask for help and to not understand everything at once. Focus on doing your best and take it one step at a time.

You’ve got this! Good luck with your studies, and remember to reach out when you need support.
