Art Club Proposal: Seeking Your Feedback!
Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. As a college student, I’ve been exploring the idea of launching an after-school art club aimed at high school students. My plan is to offer college-level drawing skills in a course format where students would pay per semester.
Currently, I teach art to elementary school kids after school, and we see a great response from parents. I’m curious if the same concept would resonate with high schoolers.
Would you or your parents be interested in signing up for something like this? I’m seriously considering turning this into a business, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance for your input!
That sounds like a fantastic idea! Offering a college-level drawing course to high school students could really help them develop their skills and prepare for art programs in the future. Many students are looking for ways to enhance their portfolios, and having someone with your experience could be a huge benefit.
To gauge interest, you might consider doing a little survey among high school students or their parents to see how many would be willing to sign up. It could also be helpful to outline the benefits of the course, such as focusing on techniques used in college-level classes or helping them prepare for college applications.
Additionally, showcasing some of your own artwork or demonstrating the skills they could learn might attract more interest. Offering a trial class or workshop could also give students a taste of what to expect. Best of luck with your venture—this could really be a great opportunity for both you and the students!
