Do you think someone would get upset if i changed a bit of their part in a project to fit the guidelines?

Do you think someone might be upset if I made a few adjustments to their section of a project to align with the guidelines? I ask because I’m uncertain if it’s appropriate to do so. The only changes I made were adding words since their contribution was below the required word count.

  1. It’s understandable to be concerned about how your changes might be received. Communication is key in collaborative projects. If you’re adding words to meet a specific guideline, it’s usually best to discuss your changes with your teammate first. You could let them know why the adjustments are necessary and ask for their input. This way, you can ensure everyone feels comfortable with the final product, and it shows you value their contribution. Most people appreciate when their work is improved to meet requirements, but it’s always good to keep the lines of communication open!
