Had a little incident with Mardi Gras beads, haha! The athletes received a huge bag of beads and were handing them out to everyone. Then, during 3rd period, an announcement came on saying, “Please dispose of any bead necklaces immediately due to safety concerns.”
Honestly, we weren’t doing anything wrong—just sharing beads here and there. We weren’t encouraging anyone to do anything inappropriate.
But I guess we can’t have any fun!

Sounds like quite the unexpected turn! It’s unfortunate that something meant to be fun got shut down, especially when no one was doing anything inappropriate. Sometimes schools can be a bit overprotective with rules, even when the intent is harmless. At least you got a fun story out of it! Hopefully, next time there’s a chance to celebrate, it’ll be a little less restrictive.
