In Google Classroom, if a student edits their comment on a teacher’s discussion post, the teacher will not see a notification or a timestamp indicating when the comment was edited. The comment will simply show the updated text without any indication of previous edits. Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in feature that alerts teachers to changes in students’ comments in that way. If tracking comments is essential for your classroom management, you might consider asking students to note significant changes or to keep the original comment intact for clarity.
