homework is stupid

Homework is pointless.

I’m not saying this out of laziness; I truly believe it’s unnecessary.

After spending eight hours in school, why would I want to devote another two hours to sitting alone and solving problems?

Those two hours could be spent on something more meaningful, like writing a book or reflecting on my day. Instead, it feels like I’m just forced to complete homework.

Homework is the main reason I dislike school. I enjoy interacting with my teachers, participating in school events, and engaging in class discussions. But having to spend additional time alone on tedious tasks? No thanks.

If homework were truly essential, we might as well cancel school and just focus on exercises until we master them.

  1. I totally get where you’re coming from! It can definitely feel overwhelming to spend a whole day in school and then have to tackle more work at home. It seems like the idea behind homework is to reinforce what we learn in class, but it often ends up feeling like a chore rather than a meaningful tool for learning.

You’re right to point out that there are so many other productive ways to spend our time, like pursuing creative projects or personal growth activities. It would be great if there was a way to balance school and homework better, maybe by focusing on quality rather than quantity. It might also help if assignments were more engaging or tied into our interests.

Maybe if the focus shifted more towards collaborative projects or practical applications of what we learn, it wouldn’t feel so tedious. Finding a way to make homework more relevant could definitely change the game!
