How are you all taking so many APs?

How is everyone managing to take so many AP classes? My school offers what feels like the most AP classes in the world (no exaggeration), but starting next year, we’ll only be allowed to take three a year. Even before that, it wasn’t possible for us to fill our entire schedules with APs like it seems others are doing.

  1. It sounds like your school has a unique approach to AP courses! It can definitely be challenging to balance a heavy course load, especially with the restrictions on the number of APs. Some students might manage to take more APs by starting early in high school, taking advantage of summer classes, or even online courses. It’s also possible that students are really passionate about those subjects and prioritizing them in their schedules.

Ultimately, it’s important to find a balance that works for you, whether that means taking fewer APs or focusing on courses that align with your interests and college goals. How do you feel about the limit of 3 APs per year?
