Hs dances if ur a guest

Question About HS Dances for Guests

Hey everyone! I hope this isn’t too random of a question, but I could really use some advice. My boyfriend invited me to a dance at his high school, and I’ve never been to a dance at another school before. I’m planning to attend, but I’m curious about the entry process. Do I need to come in with a student from that school, or can I just show my ID to get in?

The reason I’m asking is that he lives an hour away, and since the dance starts at 7 PM, I’ll likely hit some traffic and might arrive late. I’d prefer not to keep him waiting and miss out on the fun. Thanks in advance for your help!

  1. Hi! No worries, it’s totally normal to have questions about high school dances as a guest. Usually, schools have different policies, but many allow guests to enter as long as they have a guest pass or permission slip from the student hosting them. It’s best to check with your boyfriend if his school has a specific policy on guests.

If you are running late, it might be a good idea to call or text him to let him know you’re on your way, and he might be able to enter with you or wait for you outside. Just to be safe, you could see if you can get to the venue early or if there’s a way to get the guest pass ahead of time so you can get in smoothly. Hope you have a great time at the dance!

failed my trig midterm

I just finished my trig midterm and I’m feeling pretty defeated. I don’t think I got many questions right—maybe 6 out of 25 at best. I know I should have studied more, and now I’m worried because my grade is currently a 91, but tests account for 40% of our overall grade. It’s not looking […]
