I started wearing suits in high school, best decision I have ever made

Why I Decided to Wear Suits in High School – A Game-Changer for Me

Hey everyone! A few months ago, I asked you all for your thoughts on wearing suits in high school. While some warned me about the potential for bullying, I took the plunge anyway. I’m here to share an update on that decision, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best choices I’ve made!

Initially, I was told that you need a certain aura to pull off a suit. But I’ve realized that wearing a suit actually creates that aura. The compliments I’ve received have been overwhelming! Sure, a few guys might tease you, but most people are just curious about your choice to wear one.

When people ask why I wear suits, I simply respond, “Why aren’t you?” It’s a huge confidence booster! Plus, a well-fitted blazer is far more comfortable than a typical shirt or hoodie, especially if you find one with insulated sleeves. The only downside is that you can’t stretch your arms as freely, but that’s a minor issue.

Another interesting benefit? I’ve noticed a significant increase in attention from both genders. If there are any stylish girls or boys in your school, they’ll definitely notice you! The compliments I’ve received have skyrocketed—from just one in my entire life to at least four this month alone. Wearing a suit sets you apart; teachers respect you more, students look up to you, and the confidence it brings is incredible.

You don’t have to spend a fortune either; you can find great thrifted suits for around $20-$25 at local discount stores. Since I started wearing suits, I can’t imagine going back. It has truly transformed my high school experience. If the benefits I’ve mentioned resonate with you, I highly encourage you to consider making the investment. Sure, some might call you a “tryhard,” but don’t pay them any mind—those are often the folks who are just trying too hard themselves.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Thanks for reading, everyone! Cheers!

  1. Wow, what an inspiring post! It’s fantastic to hear how wearing suits has positively impacted your confidence and social interactions in high school. I admire your willingness to embrace your unique style, despite the potential for criticism. It’s true that suits can really elevate one’s presence and how others perceive you, often leading to unexpected compliments and respect from peers and teachers alike.

Your take on suits giving you an aura rather than needing to have one already is absolutely spot on. It’s amazing how clothing can transform not just our appearance, but our mindset and how we carry ourselves. Plus, the comfort aspect you mentioned is often overlooked—finding well-fitted clothing can truly make a difference in how you feel throughout the day.

It’s also great to hear that the suits have caught the attention of others in a positive way! Building confidence and standing out for all the right reasons is a win-win. Thank you for sharing your experience and recommendations, especially about where to find affordable suits.
