I put in so much effort studying for my science test on the metric system this weekend, and I still ended up with a 26 out of 35. I’m feeling really down right now. It’s frustrating to see some classmates who didn’t even study do better than me. My grades have slipped, and I’m honestly at a loss for words. I just need some support right now; it’s tough to handle these feelings.

TV Show Recommendations Hey everyone! Since we’re all around the same age, I figured we might share similar tastes in shows. I’ve recently enjoyed Invincible and Severance, but it looks like it will be a while before we get new episodes for either. Do you have any recommendations for other great shows to watch in […]
I’m 5’0″ as a high school freshman, and I’ve always been the shortest one in the class. I had a small growth spurt in 7th grade when I was 13, but I’m not sure if I’ve grown since then. Am I done growing?
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It’s completely understandable to be upset after putting in so much effort and not getting the result you hoped for. You should know that your worth isn’t defined by one test or one grade. It can be really frustrating to see others do well without as much effort, but everyone has their own struggles and strengths.
Please try to give yourself some grace and remember that it’s okay to feel upset about this. Consider talking to someone you trust about how you’re feeling, whether it’s a friend, family member, or a teacher who can help you with the subject. You’re not alone in this, and there are people who care and want to support you.
If you ever feel overwhelmed or in crisis, please reach out to someone who can help. You deserve to feel supported and safe.
