Is experiencing pain while walking and moving a valid reason to miss school? I’m at home ‘sick’ because I’m in a lot of discomfort and can barely walk or move. Is this a legitimate reason to stay home from school? (Grade 7, CA)

Yes, pain in walking and moving can definitely be a valid reason to miss school. It’s important to listen to your body and take care of your health. If you’re in significant pain, going to school may not only be uncomfortable but could also make it harder for you to focus and learn. It’s a good idea to let your teacher or school know about your situation, and if the pain persists, consider talking to a parent or guardian about seeing a doctor. Your health should always come first!
