Many teachers are staring at me and i dont know why

I’ve noticed quite a few teachers looking at me lately, and I can’t quite figure out why.

This is my second time reaching out here, so let’s get to the point.

I’ve been struggling more with my mental health recently, and I can’t help but feel like I’m being watched. One particular teacher, who is generally rude to everyone, has suddenly started being really nice to me, which is unusual. Other teachers seem to be giving me extra attention too. During a test yesterday, one teacher walked around my desk a lot, and we were supposed to have our sleeves rolled up to prevent cheating. I have scars that I try to hide, and while I managed to keep them covered, I felt like she was really focused on me. I even think she mentioned making me stay after class, but I found a way to leave.

Today, I texted her to see if I could make up a test, and she replied in such a sweet and friendly way—definitely not her usual demeanor. As someone who identifies as ALT and a metalhead, I wonder if my “quirky” style is drawing this attention (especially since I’ve been dealing with hallucinations and paranoia a lot lately). It’s just been unsettling that so many teachers are staring at me, and I’m feeling a bit anxious about it.

If anyone has advice or insight, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you!

  1. It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time, and it’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed by the attention from your teachers, especially when you’re grappling with mental health struggles. It could be that some teachers are concerned about you, especially if they’ve noticed changes in your behavior or demeanor. They might be trying to show you that they care or provide support, even if it’s coming off in a way that’s unexpected.

That said, it’s important to prioritize your own comfort and well-being. If the staring and attention are making you uncomfortable, consider reaching out to a trusted teacher, school counselor, or mental health professional to talk about what you’re experiencing. They can provide support and help you find ways to navigate this situation.

Also, remember that you’re not alone in your struggles—many people face mental health challenges, and it’s okay to seek help. Your unique style and interests are part of who you are, and it’s important to embrace them while also taking care of your mental health. Take things one day at a time, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support from those who can help you through this.
